GENERAL TERMS OF FERRY TICKETS
General ferry travel terms & conditions of the travel agency “PRAVLIS TRAVEL”

Boarding procedure
Passengers and vehicles must proceed at the boarding port to check tickets at least 1 hour before departure.
Reservations
The ticket is strictly personal. It is not transferable and applies only to the specific seat category and the route for which it was issued.
Reservation deadline
Tickets must be issued within the deadline set by the date of booking, for which passengers are informed by the agency. Otherwise, reservation is automatically canceled.
Delayed departure
Our company is not responsible for any delay of departure, deviation or modification of the scheduled route, due to bad weather conditions, due to an order from the Ministry of Merchant Shipping, the Port Authorities or for reasons of force majeure, which may affect the safety of passengers. In case of cancellation due to force majeure (eg bad weather) or due to the shipping company, passengers are entitled to a full refund, however our company (PRAVLIS TRAVEL) has no additional obligations. Itineraries, prices and terms of travel are subject to modifications, which are published through the online reservation system of each ferry company on our website www.pravlis.gr.
The shipping company has the right to replace a ship by agreement with the Ministry of Merchant Shipping.
Passenger Details
According to the Community Directive 98/41/GG and the new regulations as they derive from the Law 102/2019 (Government Gazette 182 /Α/20-11-2019) and the amended provisions of Law 23/1999 concerning the registration of persons traveling by passenger ships in Greek ports, is mandatory for security reasons, the nominal registration of passengers on each route. For the purposes of registration, the tickets are issued by NAME and must state:
– Last name
– Name (In Full)
– Sex
– Citizenship
– Date of birth (DD / MM / EU)
When booking the ticket online or issuing it, the passenger must provide his / her exact identity, contact telephone number and e-mail address, with the sole purpose of getting informed by the carrier in case of delay or cancellation of the ship’s route. The passenger must also check when issuing the ticket the correctness of the information listed on the ticket (date, time, itinerary, ship, identification details, etc.) and not receive it in case of incorrect entry.
When issuing tickets, the passenger must provide to the agency the necessary information for those cases of people who need special care or assistance, in case of need.
It is strictly forbidden to issue tickets on board, therefore, for their convenience, passengers must book and issue their tickets on time.
Prices / Discounts
The price of the ticket includes the transfer of the passenger to the port of destination, the type of seat chosen by the passenger and indicated on the ticket, as well as the respective legal charges on it (VAT, port fees, etc.). The price of the vehicle transport receipt (fare) includes the transport of the vehicle to the port of destination and the respective legal charges on it (VAT, port fees, etc.). Meals and drinks are not included.
The discounts are not offset and only the largest percentage discount is given each time.
Passengers entitled to a discount are kindly requested to declare this at the time of booking and to bring all the necessary receipts both when issuing the ticket and when boarding the ship. After the ticket is issued, no fare difference is refunded.
Groups, trucks, buses, luggage trailers, boat trailers and unaccompanied vehicles are subject to special agreements upon contact either on the contact form of our website (www.pravlis.gr) or directly on the contact phone numbers.
Children under 5 years (infants) travel for free ONLY in economy class on conventional ferries. In the other seat categories (eg cabins) are entitled to a 50% discount (child fare). They also travel for free in all speedboat categories.
Children 5-10 years old have a 50% discount on regular fares, in all seating categories, on conventional ferries and speedboats.
Only students of Greek public universities are entitled to a student discount.
Unaccompanied Children
The transportation of minor passengers, who have reached the age of 15 to 18 years, without being accompanied by a parent or a guardian, is permitted under the following conditions:
Completion of a Statutory Declaration by the parent or the legal guardian of the minor, with his/her signature, certified by the relevant Police or Port Authority. For boarding on vessel, the minor passenger must possess in hand the original Statutory Declaration, along with the ticket, as well as his/her Identity Card for identification purposes. In any case, the parent or the legal guardian of the minor passenger bears in full the responsibility for the prompt acquisition and certification of the Statutory Declaration, as well as of any accompanying documents that may be required at the port of departure. Under no circumstances will the company be liable if, due to inadequate documents and/or identification certificates, boarding is not allowed by the vessel’s Officers or the Port Authorities.
Ticket Control on Board
Purser’s Office staff carries out ticket controls at embarkation and during the journey. Passengers are obliged to show their tickets on demand and proof of discount, if applicable. In case there is no document justifying the granted discount, the difference is collected from the financial officer on board.
Safety at sea
The passenger is obliged to comply with the instructions of the authorized personnel on board, which are related to the peace, order, cleanliness and safety of the ship. The passenger is obliged to comply with the ship’s regulations, as well as the instructions of the master or the crew of the ship during the voyage and to contact the competent crew members in case of a problem.
Passengers must comply with all safety regulations when boarding, disembarking and voyage and public order within the Ship and comply with hygiene rules. Entry to the ship will be prohibited to persons who refuse to comply and will be reported to the local Port Authorities.
Shipping companies are not responsible for accidents and losses or damages before boarding or loading on the ship and after disembarking or unloading from it.
The transport of explosive, flammable, incendiary and generally dangerous substances is prohibited.
Luggage/Valuables
Luggage can remain inside the vehicles. Passengers are kindly requested to bring their personal belongings, which may be needed during the trip.
Access to the ship’s garage during the voyage is not permitted.
Shipping companies are not responsible for the storage of your personal belongings unless they have been given for safekeeping in the ship’s accounting office. The valuables can be delivered to the responsible Officers of the ship for safekeeping.
The luggage must be put in special places on the ship, according to the crew’s instructions. The passenger is entitled to carry hand luggage weighing up to 50 kg or 1 cubic meter. Luggage must not contain valuables. The valuables can be delivered to the responsible Officers of the ship for safekeeping.
The operator is responsible for the damage or loss of luggage on board the ship only if it is delivered for safekeeping and a receipt is issued.
The operator is not responsible for the loss of money, valuables, or luggage in the common areas of the ship or in their cars.
Pets
Pets travel for free. There are special areas on the ships for the accommodation of pets. Passengers traveling with a pet must have its recently updated health booklet with them and are responsible for their care, safety, and hygiene. The only exception is guide dogs the presence of which is permitted in all areas.
EURO is the official currency on board.
Ticket Cancellations:
Tickets are canceled only by our office or by the headquarters of each shipping company.
The options for cancellation, modification and compensation of tickets are a detailed but indicative synthesis of the policies followed by each company as well as the rights of the passenger as defined by the Greek state. Our office is therefore not responsible for any changes or deviations from the following details of each company’s cancellation policy, and we advise you to contact us or the shipping company for the most updated information.
A.N.E.Σ:
– Up to 14 days before departure date: refund of 100% of the ticket value.
– Up to 7 days before departure: 75% refund on the value of the tickets.
– Up to 12 hours before departure: 50% return of the fare.
Cancellations made less than 12 hours before departure are NOT refundable.
– Alternatively the tickets are converted to open date or for another date up to one hour before departure.
Aegean Speed Lines:
– 100% Cancellation up to 14 days before departure.
– 75% Cancellation up to 7 days before departure.
– 50% Cancellation up to 12 hours before departure.
– No refund from 12 hours until departure.
– Tickets can be changed on an open date 4 hours before departure.
– Open date tickets can be replaced up to one year after the date of issue, and only once.
Aegean Flying Dolphins:
– Up to 14 days before departure date: refund of 100% of the ticket value.
– Up to 7 days before departure: 75% refund on the value of the tickets.
– Up to 12 hours before departure: 50% return of the fare.
Cancellations made less than 12 hours before departure are NOT refundable.
– Open date tickets are valid and can be used for one year after the first date of issue.
Aigaion Pelagos:
HIGH SEASON:
– Up to 14 days before departure: Tickets are canceled without cancellations or converted to an open date or for another date.
– From 13 days up to 7 days before departure: Tickets are canceled with a 25% cancellation fee or alternatively the tickets are converted to an open date or for another date.
– From 6 days and up to 4 hours before departure: Tickets are canceled with a 50% surcharge or alternatively the tickets are converted into an open date or for another date.
– 4 hours before and until departure: 50% cancellation and tickets cannot be converted to open date or another date.
– After departure: Tickets cannot be canceled or converted to an open date or another date.
LOW SEASON:
– Up to 4 hours before departure: Tickets are canceled without cancellation fees or converted to open date or for another date.
– From 3 hours and up to 1 hour before departure: With a 50% surcharge or alternatively the tickets are converted into an open date or for another date.
– 1 hour before and until departure: 50% cancellation and tickets cannot be converted to open date or for another date.
– After departure: Tickets cannot be canceled or converted to an open date or another date.
ALKO Ferries:
– Up to 7 days before the scheduled departure time: Tickets are canceled with a refund of 100% of the fare if the ticket body is returned.
– Up to 4 days before the scheduled departure time: Tickets are canceled with a refund of 75% of the fare if the body is returned.
– Up to 1 day before the scheduled departure time: Tickets are canceled with a refund of 50% of the fare if the ticket body is returned.
NOTE :
Tickets can be converted into open date (OPEN) tickets up to one (1) hour before the scheduled departure time.
After departure:
Tickets are not canceled, are not converted to open date, and the date cannot be changed.
Tickets are canceled by the Company ‘s Head Agents and Head Offices and cannot be canceled by phone. Those interested must deliver the tickets to the aforementioned agencies or offices.
ANE Kalymnou:
– Full refund of the fare up to one day before departure.
– On the day of departure, the ticket cannot be canceled, but can be converted to open and be used at a later date.
K/X ANEK/SUPERFAST:
DOMESTIC LINES
HIGH SEASON: 18/12/20-06/01/21, 12/03/21, 15/03/21, 23/04/21-09/05/21, 18/06/21, 21/06/21, 25/06/21-05/09/21
- Up to 14 days before departure: Tickets are canceled without cancellation fees or can be converted to an open date or another date.
- From 13 days up to 7 days before departure: With 25% cancellation fee or alternatively the tickets can be converted to open date or for another date.
- From 6 days and up to 2 hours before departure: With 50% cancellation fee or alternatively the tickets can be converted to open date or for another date.
- 2 hours before departure: 50% cancellation fee and tickets cannot be converted to an open date or for another date.
- After departure: Tickets cannot be canceled and are not converted to an open date or for another date.
LOW SEASON: all other dates
- Up to 1 hour before departure: Tickets are canceled without cancellation fees or can be converted to an open date or another date.
- 1 hour before departure: 50% cancellation and tickets cannot be converted to an open date or other departure date.
- After departure: Tickets cannot be canceled and are not converted to an open date or for another date.
Super Economy tickets:
No change / open / cancellation after the issuance of the tickets.
ADRIATIC LINE
– 100% refund, up to 22 days before departure.
– 80% refund, from 21 days to 8 days before departure.
– 50% refund, from 7 days to 24 hours before departure.
The Company has no obligation for refund in case of cancellation less than 24 hours before the departure of the ship or if the passenger does not show up at check-in.
Early Booking Offer:
* The offer can be combined with other offers / discounts of the company.
* Tickets cannot be canceled after their issuance.
* Tickets with the offer can be changed or turned into open date, with charge of the resulting fare difference.
* Tickets with the offer that have been turned into an open date are not refundable.
Blue Star Ferries:

– Upon departure: 50% cancellation fee is withheld, tickets cannot be converted to open date, while date change is not possible. On the Piraeus-Aegina-Agistri line, tickets are converted to an open date or for another date, until departure.
– After departure: Tickets cannot be canceled and cannot be converted to open date, while the date cannot change.

Cyclades Fast Ferries:
From the date of issue of the ticket up to 8 days before the scheduled departure time: Tickets are canceled without cancellation fees if the ticket body is returned as it is or they are converted into an open date. From 7 days until the scheduled departure time: Tickets are canceled with 50% cancellation fee if the ticket body is returned as it is or alternatively converted to an open date up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure time.
After departure: Tickets cannot be canceled, cannot be converted to open date, and date change is not possible. Tickets can only be canceled by the issuing agencies and cannot be canceled by phone. Those interested must deliver the tickets to the issuing agency.
Dodekanisos Seaways:
– 7 days before departure: Tickets are canceled without cancellation fees or converted to an open date or for another date.
– From 7 days before departure up to 1 hour before departure: 50% cancellation fee is withheld or alternatively the tickets are converted into an open date or for another date.
– After departure: Tickets cannot be canceled and cannot be converted to open date, while the date cannot change.
– The passenger can convert his ticket into an open date ticket up to one hour before the departure of the ship (as indicated on the ticket) and thus its duration will be valid for one year from the date indicated on the ticket and is not subject to any fare refund or percentage thereof.
– Tickets cannot be canceled by phone. You can cancel or modify your ticket only from the agency from which you issued it or to the port-designated shipping agent.
* Ticket cancellation time immediately after its issuance, without cancellation fees: 15 minutes
Goutos Lines:
– Tickets canceled up to 48 hours before the departure of the ship, do not have cancellation fees.
– Tickets that are canceled up to 12 hours before the departure of the ship (exact time), have a 50% withholding.
– For cancellations made less than 12 hours before departure, the fare is NOT refundable.
– Tickets are canceled only by the issuing agency. Passengers wishing to cancel their tickets must present them at the issuing agency.
– There are no telephone ticket cancellations.
– There is an option to change tickets into Open-Date tickets, so that they can be used for another trip.
– Tickets that have been converted to Open-Date are canceled with 50% cancellation fees.
– In cases where a scheduled itinerary is not carried out through the fault of the Company or due to force majeure (eg curfew due to weather conditions), the full value of the ticket is refunded to the passenger.
Golden Star Ferries:
– Up to 14 days before departure: 100% refund or change to open date ticket.
– From 14 days up to 6 days before departure: 75% refund or change to open date ticket.
– From 6 days up to 12 hours before departure: 50% refund.
– Tickets cannot be canceled or changed to an open date after the departure of the boat.
– During the Orthodox Easter period, on the day of the Holy Spirit and the whole August, the cost of the tickets will be refunded free of charge or can be changed to open date tickets, 14 days before departure. 14 days to 6 days before departure there is a 25% cancellation fee. 6 days before departure the same condition applies as in the above paragraph.
Grandi Navi Veloci:
Cancellations must be acknowledged by the passenger to the company directly or by the travel agent within the following deadlines and are subject to the following penalties: from booking up to 20 days before departure 20%, from 19 days up to 4 days before departure 25%, from 3 days and up to 2 hours before departure 50%.
– There is no refund for Reservation Prepayments.
– The above apply to all tickets for Passengers, registered vehicles and related additional fees and taxes. The date and time of cancellation must be recorded on the ticket by the Company or by the travel agency that issued the ticket. The calculation of the conditions starts from the day after the cancellation date and includes the departure date. No refund is paid for cancellations made less than two hours before the expected departure or for passengers who do not board without first notifying the Company of one of the circumstances provided by the article. 400 Nav. (GNV Code). In case of cancellation of a ticket that has already been modified, the maximum penalty calculated from the date of modification applies. There is no option for a partial ticket cancellation, so the cancellation applies to the entire trip.
Grimaldi Lines:
In case of cancellation, the shipping company or the ticket agency must be informed.
The following cancellation policy applies to the total cost of tickets (passengers, vehicles, pets, etc.) *:
Integral fare:
– 10% cancellation (plus the specified fees) up to 30 days before the scheduled departure date.
– 30% cancellation (plus the specified fees) from 29 days up to 7 days before the scheduled departure date.
– 50% cancellation (plus the specified fees) from 6 days up to 2 days before the scheduled departure date.
– 100% cancellation (plus the specified fees) 1 day or less before the scheduled departure date, and in case of no-show.
* Prepaid meals and shuttle tickets:
– the cost is not refundable in case of 100% cancellation and in case of non-appearance.
– in all other cases the amount is refunded in full.
Tickets with a special fare are canceled only in case of a special / exceptional agreement with the shipping company, otherwise they are not canceled. You will not be refunded if you are denied boarding by the authorities or if your personal documents or vehicle details are incomplete or insufficient. In case of a second change in the departure date, the tickets are not canceled.
Hellenic Seaways (Managed by Blue Star Ferries):

Karystia NE:
– Tickets canceled up to 48 hours before the departure of the ship, do not have cancellation fees. If canceled within 48 hours, they have 50% cancellation fees.
– Tickets can be converted to open up to 24 hours before departure, after which they are not subject to change.
– Open tickets can be used until the end of the year in which they were issued.
– Tickets that are converted to open from 48 to 24 hours before departure, when the ticket is replaced will be charged with a cancellation of 50%.
Ionian Group – Levante Ferries:
– Up to 14 days before the departure date: refund 100% of the ticket value.
– Up to 7 days before departure: 75% refund of the ticket value.
– Up to 12 hours before departure: 50% return of the fare.
Cancellations made less than 12 hours before departure are NOT eligible for a refund.
– Alternatively the tickets are converted to open date or for another date up to one hour before departure.
Minoan Lines:
DOMESTIC LINES
– From the date of issue of the ticket and up to 14 days before the scheduled departure, the ticket fare is fully refundable.
– From 13 days up to 7 days before the scheduled departure date: 75% refund.
– From 6 days up to 12 hours before the scheduled departure time: 50% refund.
– From 12 hours until the scheduled departure time: the fare is non-refundable.
Super Economy tickets:
After the issuance of the tickets there is no change/open/cancellation.
Special Economy tickets:
After the issuance of the tickets, the date of travel can be changed, but they cannot be canceled.
ADRIATIC LINES
– From the date of issue of the ticket and up to 30 days before the scheduled departure: refund of 90% (plus fixed fees 10€).
– From 29 days up to 7 days before the scheduled departure date: refund of 70% (plus fixed fees € 10).
– From 6 days up to 2 days before the scheduled departure time: refund of 50% (plus the fixed fees 10 €).
– On the day of departure: the fare is non-refundable.
– Tickets can only be canceled by the issuing agency.
– Early Booking Offer
* The offer is combined with other offers / discounts of the company.
* Tickets cannot be canceled after their issuance.
* Tickets with the offer can be changed or made open date, at the expense of the resulting fare difference.
* Tickets with the offer that have been turned into open date are not refundable.
Saronic Ferries:
– Up to 24 hours before departure: Tickets are canceled in full and returned to customer’s debit card, or new tickets of the same or greater amount are issued for another hour or day of travel (subject to seat availability), or open date (Open) tickets.
– From 24 hours to 2 hours before departure: Refund is not possible. The passenger can only change the tickets for another time/day or turn them into open date (Open) tickets and always equal or greater amount.
– For less than 2 hours before departure: No refund or change of tickets.
– Loss of ticket: In case of loss of ticket, passengers must purchase new tickets by paying the price again.
Sea Speed Ferries:
HIGH PERIOD: 10/04/2020-26/04/2020, 04/06/2020-12/06/2020, 12/06/2020-20/09/2020
– Up to 10 days before departure (exact time): 100% return of the fare.
– Up to the scheduled departure time: 50% fare return.
– Tickets are converted to open date up to 4 hours before the departure of the ship.
LOW SEASON: All other dates
– Up to 3 days before departure (exact time): 100% return of the fare.
– Up to the scheduled departure time: 50% fare return.
– Tickets are converted to open date up to 1 hour before the departure of the ship or for another date.
– Open tickets are valid for one year from the original date of issue.
– After the departure time of the ship the tickets cannot be canceled, converted to open or change.
SEAJETS:
– Up to 14 days before departure: 100% refund
– Up to 7 days before departure: 75% refund
– Up to 12 hours before departure: 50% refund
– For cancellations made less than 12 hours before departure, no refunds can be made.
– Tickets can also be converted to open at least 12 hours before departure. Open date tickets can be replaced with another date tickets for each route depending on availability (valid for one year and cannot be canceled, fare is non-refundable).
Superfast Ferries:
ADRIATIC LINE
– 100% return, up to 22 days before departure.
– 80% refund, from 21 days to 8 days before departure.
– 50% refund, from 7 days to 24 hours before departure.
The Company has no obligation to refund in case of cancellation less than 24 hours before the departure of the ship or if the passenger does not show up at check-in.

– 100% refund, up to 91 days before departure.
– 80% refund, from 90 days to 8 days before departure.
– 50% refund, from 7 days to 24 hours before departure
The company has no obligation to refund in case of cancellation less than 24 hours before the departure of the ship or if the passenger does not show up at check-in.
Zante Ferries:
HIGH SEASON :
1) Tickets are canceled without cancellation fees or converted into an open date at least 5 days before departure.
2) Five (5) days up to 12 hours before departure the tickets are canceled with 50% cancellation fee or converted to open/other date.
LOW SEASON:
1) Tickets are canceled without cancellation fees or converted to an open date 3 days before departure.
2) Three (3) days to one (1) day before departure the tickets are canceled with 50% cancellation fee or converted to open/other date (at least 2 hours before departure).
ATTENTION:
1) After the departure of the ship, tickets cannot change, nor can be converted to open date, nor can change for another date.
2) Tickets that have already been converted to open date are canceled with a withholding of 50% of their value.
3) Tickets are canceled only by our office. Tickets are not canceled by phone and their holders must present / send them to our office.
4) OPEN DATE Tickets are usually valid for 12 months.

– If it is incorrect, you will not receive confirmation of your booking and we will not be able to contact you in case of need.
– If for some reason you do not receive a confirmation email or a reply from us, please also check your spam folder.
* Pravlis Travel IKE does not charge a fee for receiving /printing a ticket at our headquarters or at our ticket office in the new port of Myrina, however some offices have an additional charge for printing prepaid tickets.
Ticket change:
For each change per booking, the charges of the respective companies are valid.
In case you have the tickets in your hands, you will need to return them to us. The new tickets will either be sent to you again – if you pay the shipping costs again – or we will make sure to pick them up at the port of departure on the same day at no extra charge (as long as the shipping company supports the prepaid ticket).
The printing of tickets and the provision of services at the request of passengers (modifications, replacements, upgrades, etc.) may incur an additional charge from the Central Agents. The Central – Port Agencies are independent Private Enterprises, and Pravlis Travel IKE bears no responsibility for any pricing & service charges.
Lost tickets:
In case of loss of your ticket, please:
1) Declare it in writing to Pravlis Travel IKE.
2) To travel you will need to buy a new ticket.
Provided that, by the end of the year, the auditing department of the company confirms that the lost tickets have not been used, you are entitled to a refund or a new ticket of equal value. This lies in the decision of the shipping company.
