In the context of the instructions of the Greek Authorities for dealing with the spread of COVID-19, we inform you that the shipping companies are proceeding with the revision of the Pre-Boarding Passenger Tracing forms. The revised forms include the addition of questions regarding the results of tests and vaccinations, as posted on the official website of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy.

The Passenger Tracking Pre-Boarding Form must be completed by the passengers and delivered together with their ticket, showing the necessary documents (in electronic or printed form) certifying the results of checks and vaccinations to the person in charge of the Financial Service during their boarding, before the departure of the ship.

The documents that passengers must present (in electronic or printed form) upon boarding are as follows:

  • Vaccination Certificate or
  • Negative result of PCR Test 72 hours or
  • Negative result of Rapid Test 24 hours or
  • Negative result of a 24-hour Self Test, the result of which must be declared on the Pre-Boarding form or
  • Confirmation of illness two months after illness and up to nine months

The obligation to perform PCR Test, Rapid Test or Self Test, if there is no Vaccination Certificate, is valid for passengers over 5 years and only for departures from ports of Mainland Greece (Piraeus, Rafina, Lavrio, Kavala, Volos and Thessaloniki) to islands and which should be negative.

Boarding the ship will take place only if the passengers have completed the Pre-Boarding Passenger Tracking form and the above instructions are followed.

The use of a protective mask during boarding / disembarking, as well as during the trip, is mandatory.
